Coaching & Mentoring

Coaching helps people deal with the new, the challenging or the unexpected. It provides a space to think through problems and challenges in a confidential space. Coaching offers a bespoke approach to meet the individual's needs and level, our coaching gives people the space to reflect and the challenge to develop new insights about them self and the challenges they face.

Coaching is a simple process, but from our experience there is a significant difference between what the best coaches do and how effective they are.

We offer a range of coaching interventions from face to face to telephone, from leadership and performance coaching to careers coaching. We also offer supervision and coaching training through accredited programmes.



Our team of experienced coaches offers:

Personal Coaching

Personal Coaching for individuals, tailored to people’s own needs in their organization – we work with senior and middle managers. This is charged on a per session basis and is highly flexible with most clients meeting between 4 and 6 times with their coach for one to two hours.

Coaching Plan

For individuals who have a development plan in mind or who would like to commit to a 6 or 12 month period after an initial session. The charge includes a fixed number of face to face sessions, plus ad hoc phone conversations.

Phone Coaching Plan

For individuals who may have a demanding schedule, are geographically remote or on the move, but still want access to the very best coaches. The charge is based on 4 phone sessions of one hour.

Team Coaching Plan

For leadership teams who would like to build their effectiveness together. This is based on four one hour group sessions and is usually combined with 1-1 coaching for individual team members.

The 100 Day Leadership Journey

For those newly appointed to a leadership or management role. The plan includes 6 coaching sessions, plus ad hoc telephone coaching and a leadership self coaching workbook.

Career Transition Coaching Plan

For those seeking to return to employment. The plan includes two telephone coaching sessions, a self coaching workbook and as many free interview preparation telephone coaching sessions in advance of each job interviews as candidates need to secure employment.

Coach Training

We offer a wide range of coach training for managers, those seeking to be coaches and professional coaches.

Manager Training Courses

Introduction to coaching – a short one day course for those interested in training a wide number of staff in coaching skills and developing a coaching culture.

Coaching as a Management Style – for those seeking to understand about coaching and how coaching might be used as a management style alongside others to maximise employee performance.

Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring in Management – ILM Level 5 qualification – for those working in management but seeking a formal qualification in coaching.

Coach Training Courses

Accredited Integrated Practitioner Coach (Certificate in coaching and mentoring in management – ILM Level 7) – for those seeing to become a practicing coach and who are seeking an evidenced based approach using multiple coaching models including humanistic, behavioural and cognitive behavioural coaching.

Accredited Integrated Master Coach (Diploma in coaching and mentoring in management – ILM Level 7) – for those with the certificate award and who are seeking to add to their skills and ability to work with multiple clients and more challenging issues. The programme includes training in motivational interviewing, mindfulness, positive psychology approaches and psychometrics. It also includes two years of supervision as part of the CPD development process.

Professional Coach Training - Short Courses

Mondays offers a range of short 1, 2, 3 and 5 day courses for coaches. This include:

Gestalt coaching – for those interested in developing their skills in using Gestalt approaches in coaching.

Motivational Interviewing in coaching – for those interested in using MI approaches in their coaching practice.

Psychodynamic coaching – for those interested in developing their skills in Psychodynamic approaches in coaching.

Solution focused – for those interested in developing their skills in Solution Focused approaches in coaching.

Appreciative Inquiry & strengths based coaching – for those interested in AI and strengths approaches to use with their clients.

Cognitive behavioural coaching – for those interested in CBC approaches and how these might be effectively used with clients.
Certificate in Supervision in coaching – for those interested in becoming a coaching supervisor a five-day programme of training, action learning and personal supervision.

Mentoring Training

We offer training for mentors and mentees, from short half day briefings to help employees understand the nature of mentoring and how the organization is planning to introduce a mentoring scheme, to more sophisticated skills based programmes based on the latest research. This research suggests that while mentoring is generally effective, outcomes can be significantly enhanced when key ingredients are included.

In addition to facilitated one day in house workshops we can work with you to design a coaching culture and mechanisms to track your journey towards implementing the coaching culture.


Our team contains leading names in the field of coaching and leadership. Some of our team have published leading research in the field and we have a detailed understanding about research methods. Our team includes experienced researchers, with post doctoral level research and evaluation experience. We are able to work with you to evaluate both coaching and other organizational interventions, either as part of a wider programme or as part of an independent evaluation of a programme delivered by other providers.
